Kate grew up in Portland, OR and moved to Washington shortly after high school. She studied accounting at the University of Washington but after a decade of crunching numbers she gave it up for a career in health care. She now does mammograms at a clinic where she is known as the “petite but strong one” (or was called that at least once).
The Groom
Jesse Barracoso
Jesse grew up in a small island in the Philippines and immigrated to the US when he was seven years old. He went to college for art at the University of Washington. As you may have guessed, art doesn’t pay very much and after spending most of his young adult years making minimum wage, he became an air traffic controller which allows him to make art at his leisure while not starving.
The Registry
We have too much stuff as it is and we do not need any more stuff. We only want your company. However, if you would like to spend money on our behalf, please consider one of the charities below. If you want to physically purchase us something, you can buy us a pair of medium and small-sized Darn Tough or Smartwool socks to take with us on our next hike or travel destination. Lastly, we also opened a honeymoon fund via The Knot if you would like to contribute to our next trip.
